In Chronological Order:

1. Fill out the Volunteer Form for HSP

2. Attend Coach's Training

3. Attend Coach's Equipment hand out

4. Contact players on your roster to introduce yourself as the coach and invite them to first practice and team meeting. Tell them about the need to bring medical information to this meeting so they can fill out the forms.

5. Prior to meeting with players, check if your players' shirt have the name of the sponsor on your roster and check off shirts sizes on the roster with the players' shirts you received at the coaches equipment pickup. If you are missing a shirt or don't have the size specified on the roster, contact the commissioner for your age group listedon the roster.

6. At the team meeting:

* Hand outmedical forms to parents and collect them when completed

* Hand out player shirts/ uniforms.

* Hand out player packets including:
-medical form
-game schedule
-National SAY paper
-weather policy
-envelopes for team picture

* Review date for team picture with the parents


7. Review dates for practices and games with parents and which fields the team will be playing on

8. Give directions to fields (see Field Maps)

9. Give parents the date for the tournament for 12 and older age groups. (Team with players 12 and older play in the county tournament and qualify to play in the Tony Litt Tournament based on the teams record for the season.)

10. Hand out participation trophies at last game of the season

11. Hand in equipment to the Director of Equipment
